Shane Gillis ‘ignites the orange’ before Game 3

Comedian Shane Gillis got things going at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Wednesday, before the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins dropped the puck in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference First Round.

Gillis – a Flyers superfan – was joined by team mascot Gritty to “ignite the orange” before the game.

The standup comedian and Pennsylvania native is a frequent attendee at Flyers games, recently sitting on the glass for a game with fellow actor Chris O' Connor and other members of his TV show, “Tires.”

The Flyers hold a 2-0 series lead after sweeping the first games in Pittsburgh.
