January 24, 1999 - Tampa Bay hosts its first All-Star Game
On this day, the 49th NHL All-Star game was played at the Ice Palace. Wendel Clark was the Bolts' representative on home ice as Team North America defeated Team World 8-6. Playing in his final All-Star Game, Wayne Gretzky scored twice and was named Most Valuable Player.
January 25, 2014 - Johnson's rookie hat trick
Rookie Tyler Johnson scored three times in Tampa Bay's 5-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche. At the time, he became just the second rookie in team history to record a hat trick for the Bolts, following in the footsteps of Steven Stamkos in 2009.

January 27, 2004 - The Bolts upgrade on the blueline
Tampa Bay's trade for veteran defenseman Darryl Sydor is regarded as one of the key moves that helped the Lightning lift the Stanley Cup later that Summer. In exchange for his skill on the blueline and postseason experience, the Bolts gave up Alexander Svitov and a third-round pick.
January 28, 2002 - Khabibulin's 7th shutout of the 2001-2002 season
Goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin made 42 saves as the Bolts defeated the Rangers 1-0. It was Khabibulin's seventh shutout of the year, setting a new franchise mark for most in a single season. The record stood unmatched until Andrei Vasilevskiy tied it in Monday's 2-0 shutout of the Blackhawks.
