The Winnipeg Jets will try to avoid losing their fourth straight game and fifth in a row at home in the second of a back-to-back. The Jets lost 5-2 to the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday and are six points out of the second wild card into the playoffs from the Western Conference. "We're desperate for points right now and we need to get on a roll," forward Bryan Little said Friday. The Jets are 4-3-2 in the second half of back-to-backs this season. Goalie Connor Hellebuyck is expected to make his second straight start after Ondrej Pavelec was injured in a 4-2 loss to the Wild on Tuesday. Hellebuyck made 31 saves against Chicago and felt good about his game. "Like I've been saying, I'm going to go out and play my game," he said. "I'm not going to change. I'm going to get back to what makes me, me. Not only was I tracking (the puck), but reading the play pretty well. Not falling behind it, but reading the play and getting ahead of it." The Jets have allowed at least three goals in each of their past 14 games.
