Cherry gave Fischler picture-perfect answer to question

Legendary hockey reporter and analyst Stan Fischler is writing a weekly scrapbook for NHL.com this season. Fischler, known as "The Hockey Maven," will share his knowledge, brand of humor and insight with readers each Wednesday. Once a month, he will let a picture from his vast collection do the talking in his "Picture is Worth 100 Words" feature.
Today, he recounts the time Don Cherry gave him a straight answer to a question.

Don Cherry, then coach of the Colorado Rockies, said he animatedly showed Mike McEwen his displeasure over the defenseman's blunder while on the bench. Two nights later, the Rockies visited Nassau Coliseum to play the New York Islanders.
In a pregame interview, I asked Cherry to show me how he got his points across to McEwen -- and he obliged with equal animation. I, too, understood the mistake.
