NEW YORK -- Nashville Predators forward Ryan Hartman has been fined $1,000 for spearing Boston Bruins forward Chris Wagner during NHL Game No. 545 in Boston on Saturday, Dec. 22, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 19:04 of the second period.
The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
