NSH@MIN: Jeannot swats Trenin feed into net on rush

After that goal, Tanner Jeannot may want to change his last name to Jan-yes.

The Nashville Predators forward scored an incredible goal knocking a deflected pass out of midair and into the net while on the move in a 5-2 against the Minnesota Wild on Sunday.
The spectacular goal was so similar of a baseball swing that the Predators brought it to the attention of the Vanderbilt University Baseball team [the perennial college baseball powerhouse is located in Nashville] for proper judging.

The degree of difficulty was high for Jeannot to begin with as he was streaking full speed down the left side of the ice.
Things only got tougher when Predators teammate Yakov Trenin's pass was deflected into the air by Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon.
But Jeannot would not be denied. The level of concentration as Jeannot pops it in right over Wild goalie Kaapo Kahkonen's right shoulder is appreciated even more in slow motion.
