Penguins team scope:Pittsburgh has been one of the better penalty-killing teams in the League this season and that area will be a focus Saturday. "It'll be a big challenge for us to make sure that we try to limit their opportunities by making sure we stay disciplined," coach Mike Sullivan told the Penguins website. "When our penalty kill does get on the ice we have to make sure we pressure pucks when we have an opportunity and force them to have to make plays under pressure." This will be Sullivan's first taste of the Keystone State rivalry. "We know it's going to be a hard-fought game, a ton of emotion, lots of energy. We have to make sure we maintain the necessary focus and discipline so we can focus on the game right way." Sullivan said there's a chance defenseman Ben Lovejoy, out since Feb. 20 because of an upper-body injury, could play Saturday or Sunday against the Washington Capitals.
Flyers team scope: Forward Jakub Voracek will be a game-time decision, coach Dave Hakstol told CSNPhilly.com. Voracek has missed the past nine games because of a lower-body injury. At practice Friday he skated at right wing on a line with center Nick Cousins and left wing Matt Read. Hakstol said Voracek has to be ready to play his normal complement of minutes Saturday and beyond. "You can't ease right back in," he said. "When he comes back in he has to be ready to go." Voracek's addition to Cousins' right side moved Read to left wing on that line. Scott Laughton, who had been in that spot, skated at left wing with center Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and right wing Ryan White in place of Chris VandeVelde, who received a two-game suspension from the NHL Department of Player Safety for an elbowing incident with Chicago's Jonathan Toews on Wednesday. Hakstol would not reveal his goalie for Saturday but Steve Mason stayed out for extra work, indicating Michal Neuvirth could get his second straight start.
