NEW YORK -- Los Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty has been suspended for one game for an illegal check to the head of Vegas Golden Knights forward William Carrier during Game 1 of the teams' First Round series in Las Vegas on Wednesday, April 11, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 9:58 of the third period.
