"Inside the Lightning: Prospect Camp" will give viewers a behind the scenes look at the start of Lightning training camp with the rookies and prospects. The team's first full practice at Amalie Arena is spotlighted before the young group packs up for a four hour bus ride to participate in a four-team tournament versus the Washington Capitals, Nashville Predators and the host Florida Panthers. Seven players from the Lightning's 2016 and 2015 draft classes, and seven former draft selections dating as far back as 2011, comprise the 24 man roster that finished 2-1 over the four day event in Coral Springs, Fla.
After the tournament, prospect Adam Erneshowed us how he likes to relax on a day off before the start of main camp. Main camp begins and veteran players like Tyler Johnson, JT Brown and Jason Garrison joined the prospects in a lively practice prior to the team's first preseason game. Prospects featured throughout the episode include 2014 third round pick Brayden Point, 2015 second round pick Mitchell Stephens, 2015 sixth round pick Bokondji Imama and 2016 first round pick Brett Howden.
