"Any team, if you can win in a different number of ways, that can only help you, especially down the stretch, when the games get really important and really intense, because you're not going to have your best legs every night," Shore said. "So if you can just find a way to win depending on how the game comes to you, that's huge, that's huge for our team and it's exciting."
Harri Sateri allowed six goals on 36 shots replacing injured James Reimer, and Aaron Ekblad scored for Florida (19-21-6).
Shore gave Dallas a 1-0 lead at 15:45 of the first period when he tipped a point shot by Klingberg. The power-play goal was scored during a period that had 84 penalty minutes.

"The tenacity of the start brought our guys back into the reality of having to play off the road trip," Stars coach Ken Hitchcock said. "We had no choice, we had to respond, because if we didn't wake up and didn't respond they would have pushed us out of the building."
Jamie Benn made it 2-0 at 6:43 of the second period on a backhand, his 20th goal of the season. Radulov set it up with a no-look backhand pass from along the boards.
Radulov scored on a 5-on-3 power play to give Dallas a 3-0 lead at 9:57 of the second period. Florida made it 3-1 at 15:47 when Ekblad scored on the power play.

"I thought we had a couple chances when it was 3-1, but then the wheels fell off a bit at the end," Panthers captain Derek MacKenzie said.
Mattias Janmark made it 4-1 at 5:16 of the third period when he scored off a pass from Klingberg.
Radulov scored his 20th goal of the season on a breakaway at 12:06 for a 5-1 lead, and Tyler Pitlick scored at 12:26 to make it 6-1.

"[Coach] mentioned that, even between the periods, that we've got to stick with the plan, play the right way and try to find some chances to put the puck in the net, and we did," Radulov said. "I think all four lines [were] trying to create and play more in their zone away from our net."
Sateri entered the game at 3:48 of the first period after Reimer sustained a lower-body injury attempting to make a save on a shot that went wide. Reimer made three saves before he was injured.
"I'm sure that affected the team a little bit on the bench for a little while, and we tried to fight hard for Harri," Panthers coach Bob Boughner said. "You score one goal on the road, you're not going to win a lot of hockey games. We couldn't solve Bishop when we needed to."

They said it

"It's no fun losing like this. We just couldn't find that second goal. I thought that we had some momentum after we scored that goal going into the third period, and we came out and they got a shorthanded goal, and it was sort of downhill from there. We've got to regroup, a tough loss. We've got [the Washington Capitals] at home (on Thursday) before another couple-day rest. We've got to regroup as a team." -- Panthers coach Bob Boughner
"This was emotion and feistiness and people angry at each other. I think a lot of it started that they thought we hit the goalie, which we didn't. I think that started the ball rolling, and then what are you gonna do? You gotta get on the ride and hope nobody gets hurt." -- Stars coach Ken Hitchcock on the penalties in the first period
