Defenseman Dennis Wideman will not play for the rest of the season because of a triceps injury, the Calgary Flames said Friday.
Wideman left the game against the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday after he was injured in the first period.

It was his third game since returning last Friday after his 20-game suspension for cross-checking linesman Don Henderson on Jan. 27 was reduced to 10 games by an arbitrator. He served 19 of the 20 games before returning March 11.
Wideman had two goals, 17 assists and 30 penalty minutes in 51 games this season.
