St. Louis Blues forward Troy Brouwer used some serious hand-eye coordination to give his team the lead against the San Jose Sharks in Game 5 of the Western Conference Final at Scottrade Center on Monday.

With the game tied 1-1, Blues center Paul Stastny had his shot from the slot denied by Sharks goalie Martin Jones, but Brouwer swatted the puck out of the air from the top of the left circle into the net to give St. Louis a 2-1 lead at 15:08 of the first period. It was Brouwer's eighth goal of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The best-of-7 series is tied 2-2.
