BOSTON -- Tommy Wingels will replace Tim Schaller on the Boston Bruins' fourth line in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Second Round against the Tampa Bay Lightning at TD Garden on Wednesday (7 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, TVAS).
The best-of-7 series is tied 1-1.

"Tommy has got some experience, he provides physicality," Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said. "I think we were a little short on that [at Tampa Bay], so it's a small swap. They both kill penalties. Just a bit of a gut [decision], make sure we're not completely comfortable, we get the urgency required. Because I think we lacked some of that up there at times."
Wingels will play left wing. Acquired in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks on Feb. 26, the 30-year-old had no points in three games during the Bruins' seven-game victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round.
Schaller played all 82 regular-season games. The 27-year-old has two assists in nine Stanley Cup Playoff games.
The Lightning do not expect to make any changes to their lineup. Forward Yanni Gourde arrived in Boston on Wednesday after his wife gave birth to their first child Tuesday.
"I'm sure he hasn't slept, but knowing the competitive nature of that kid, he probably doesn't sleep anyway, whether he's having a baby or not," Lightning coach Jon Cooper said. "I know he's going to be very focused tonight."
