Not to be out done, Stenlund smashed a two-hander from midair, after Oliver Bjorkstrand's initial try was blocked by Cedric Paquette, past James Reimer to give Columbus a 3-1 lead at 15:53.
"I saw the puck all the way," Stenlund told Fox Sports Columbus during the first intermission. "Just tried to hit it before it got to the ice because the goalie was out of the net and just get it on goal. It worked."
We'd love to see what Stenlund's exit-velocity was and what the international judges would score Roslovic's move.
Unfortunately for the Blue Jackets, Stenlund's goal was their last of the game, and Carolina claimed a 7-3 victory.
