Status report
Chychrun, a defenseman, is out after having surgery on his wrist and ankle during the offseason. On Sept. 21, he reiterated he wanted to be traded from the Coyotes. … Blueger will not play after wearing a no-contact jersey in an optional morning skate Thursday. The forward is day to day with an injury sustained in training camp on Sept. 28.
