The Lightning's top prospects competed in the first day of the annual 3-on-3 tournament at the Ice Sports Forum. The 28 development camp players got divided into six teams for the 3-on-3 competition, with Team Lecavalier and Team St. Louis leading the way with eight points each. Team Richards went undefeated, posting a trio of wins in three games.

Christopher Paquette, Mikhail Sergachev and Libor Hajek led the way for Team Lecavalier, combining for 17 points in four games. Sergachev, who was recently acquired by the Bolts in the Drouin trade to Montreal, scored five times on the first day of the 3-on-3 tournament. Paquette chipped in with four assists.

Team St. Louis started the first day of the tournament undefeated in regulation time, posting three wins and one shootout loss. Sammy Walker, a seventh-round pick in the 2017 draft, looked impressive in his first action with the Bolts, posting four goals and an assist. Anthony Cirelli, Cal Foote and Kevin Hancock round out the undefeated Team St. Louis.
The Lightning's 2015 second round pick Mitchell Stephens posted four goals and three assists in four games on the first day to lead all skaters for points. Stephens' Team Andreychuk went 1-2-1 during the first day.
Brett Howden chipped in with a goal and three assists for Team Esposito which went 2-1-0 in three games. Team Stamkos will be looking for their first win of the tournament on Saturday, after dropping all four games.

Each four-man team will play a total of five round robin games during the 3-on-3 tournament. The goalies were split between teams for each game. Connor Ingram, Kristian Oldham, Joseph Raaymakers and Cam Johnson are the four goalies in this year's development camp. Raaymakers, an invitee to the camp from Sault Ste. Marie of the OHL, led all goalies with a .870 save percentage in three games played. Ingram is coming off an impressive season with Kamloops of the WHL where he posted a 2.44 goals-against average and .927 save percentage.
The final day of the development camp is tomorrow at the Ice Sports Forum. The 3-on-3 tournament kicks off tomorrow at 11:45 a.m. and is free and open to the public. It will also be streamed on TampaBayLightning.com and on the NHL app.
