TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning are set to make seven selections at the 2022 NHL Draft on Thursday, July 7 and Friday, July 8 at Bell Centre in Montreal. The Lightning's 2022 Draft is presented by Florida Blue.

Round 1 will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 7. Rounds 2-7 will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 8. ESPN and ESPN+ will provide live coverage of Round 1 on Thursday in the United States, while NHL Network and ESPN+ will air Rounds 2-7.
The Lightning hold a first-round pick (31st selection overall) for the first time since the 2019 Draft, when they selected Nolan Foote of the Western Hockey League's Kelowna Rockets with the 27thoverall pick. Nolan Foote is the younger brother of current Lightning defenseman Cal Foote, who himself was a Tampa Bay first-round selection in the 2017 Draft (14th overall).
