The Bolts continue their four-game homestand with the first meeting of the season against division-rival Montreal.

In the two games prior to the Christmas break, Tampa Bay recorded wins over Ottawa and Minnesota. The Lightning knocked off the Senators last Thursday 4-3 in a shootout and then followed that up with a 3-0 shutout of the Wild on Saturday.
Montreal will be playing their fourth straight game on the road after taking on the Hurricanes on Wednesday.
