Ryan Pulock had iron lungs on Tuesday night – and he was rewarded with the New York Islanders Iron Man mask as a result.
Pulock logged a game-high 29:12 in a 5-4 shootout win over Vegas, racking up an assist, along with a shot, four shot attempts and a blocked shot. The defenseman also logged a game-high 4:55 SH TOI as the Islanders penalty kill was a perfect 4-for-4.
Pulock was a first-time recipient of the Iron Man mask, taking the totem from Ilya Sorokin.
