NEW YORK -- Tampa Bay Lightning forward Jonathan Drouin left Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Second Round series against the New York Islanders at Barclays Center on Tuesday in the second period after he was hit by defenseman Thomas Hickey.
Drouin returned midway throught the third.

The hit occurred at 5:42 of the second. With Drouin skating in the Islanders zone, Hickey's shoulder appeared to hit him in the face, snapping his head backward. Drouin went to the locker room and didn't return for the start of the third.
Hickey was not called for a penalty on the play.
Drouin had the primary assist on Nikita Kucherov's tying goal with 38.4 seconds remaining in regulation.
The Lightning won 5-4 in overtime to take a 2-1 series lead.
