On Friday, Jan. 20 and Saturday, Jan. 21, 8-year-old Annabelle Hanson of Make-a-Wish Southern Nevada had her dreams come true with the Vegas Golden Knights. Annabelle travelled to Las Vegas as part of Allegiant Airlines 2000th wish, which was to become a Vegas Golden Knight, meet her favorite player Mark Stone and ring the siren during a game at The Fortress!

When she arrived in Las Vegas, she was greeted by Allegiant Airlines staff at the airport who gifted her a signed Golden Knights jersey and hockey stick.
She was in attendance for Friday's team practice and was greeted by fans along with the Allegiant Airlines team. They made signs for her and cheered as they welcomed her to City National Arena. Next on the list was to officially become a part of the Golden Knights organization. She arrived at the media room where she signed a "Knight for Life" contract with general manager Kelly McCrimmon. She answered questions from the media as well as participated in an interview with rink-side reporter Ashali Vise.
Annabelle was then led into the locker room where she was surprised with her very own locker set up, jerseys and a tour of the room. She really was an official Golden Knights player at that point!
After spending time in the locker room, it was time for practice. Annabelle fist bumped each and every player that walked out onto the ice, greeting them enthusiastically by name. She then laced up some skates, put a helmet on and joined the team on the ice. She proceeded to score multiple goals on Logan Thompson and ended up dropping the gloves to "fight" Keegan Kolesar. After their tussle, she skated herself to the penalty box and sat in there for her "penalty." Fighting and sitting in the penalty box were two of her biggest wishes that were fulfilled. She then participated in a team photo on the ice with all the players and coaches. Afterwards, she met her favorite player ever, captain Mark Stone. The two snapped a photo together and shared a special moment.
On Saturday morning, Annabelle returned to City National Arena for morning skate and to speak to the media in the locker room. As expected, she was very popular by then and had several questions to answer from different media members. She even sat in her locker room stall to do so, right next to Nicolas Roy. That night, Annabelle and her family attended their first ever Golden Knights game against the Washington Capitals. She fist bumped the team as they took the ice for warm ups, joined Thompson in the crease during the anthem and took part in intermission interviews. Before the second period, she pumped up the crowd by cranking the siren. She even signed some autographs.
To close out the night after a big 6-2 victory, Annabelle the good luck charm joined the team on the bench for the Three Stars announcement. The players fist bumped her yet again and praised her for her luck and enthusiasm. She even received a game puck from Ben Hutton and the victory flamingo from Alec Martinez himself. Mark Shunock then interviewed her on the bench, assuring her she can come back to a game anytime.
