School Assembly

Each season, the Sharks Anti-Bullying Program presented by Kaiser Permanente brings an assembly tailored towards 1st-3rd grade students to six local elementary schools. Each assembly focuses on educational and interactive elements to teach students how to identify different types of bullying while developing bullying prevention skills.

S.J. SHARKIE UPSTANDER COLORING PAGE

An UPSTANDER is someone who might do or say something to make a conflict better. When an upstander sees bullying they can tell the bully to stop, find an adult to help with the bullying situation, or give support to those who are being bullied. 

Download and print the S.J. Sharkie coloring page, allow your students to select the colors to represent the upstander characteristics, and design Upstander Sharkie's new uniform!

Watch each video below to see if you can spot which of the 4 types of bullying (Verbal, Physical, Social, Cyber) is occurring. Keep in mind there might be more than one! Don't forget to watch the resolution of each scenario to see how the players decided to handle the situation.
