1. REVENGE ON THEIR MINDS
The Flyers wrap up the season series within the first two weeks of play against the Arizona Coyotes tonight and will be looking to avenge a 4-3 overtime loss when they played in the desert on Oct. 15… This is the fourth straight opponent in which the Flyers face towards the end of their road trip as Arizona wraps up a six-game, 11-day road trip to the East Coast in which they have lost each game, going 0-5-0 and being outscored, 23-13… The Coyotes only win so far this year was in their home opener against the Flyers.
2. WHAT A DIFFERENCE A WEEK MAKES
The Flyers power play started out the season going 0-for-7, but since a Matt Read power-play goal at the end of the second period at Chicago, the Flyers have gone 7-for-19 and are operating at 36.8 percent after going 3-for-4 in Tuesday's win over Buffalo… The Flyers are now ranked fifth overall in the NHL on the man-advantage at 26.9%… The Flyers have five of their seven power-play goals on home ice (5-for-15, 33.3%).
