1. REVENGE ON THEIR MINDS

The Flyers wrap up the season series within the first two weeks of play against the Arizona Coyotes tonight and will be looking to avenge a 4-3 overtime loss when they played in the desert on Oct. 15… This is the fourth straight opponent in which the Flyers face towards the end of their road trip as Arizona wraps up a six-game, 11-day road trip to the East Coast in which they have lost each game, going 0-5-0 and being outscored, 23-13… The Coyotes only win so far this year was in their home opener against the Flyers.

2. WHAT A DIFFERENCE A WEEK MAKES

The Flyers power play started out the season going 0-for-7, but since a Matt Read power-play goal at the end of the second period at Chicago, the Flyers have gone 7-for-19 and are operating at 36.8 percent after going 3-for-4 in Tuesday's win over Buffalo… The Flyers are now ranked fifth overall in the NHL on the man-advantage at 26.9%… The Flyers have five of their seven power-play goals on home ice (5-for-15, 33.3%).

3. ROOKIE REDUX

The first meeting between the two teams saw six rookies take to the ice (PHI: Konecny, Provorov) (ARI: Chychrun, Crouse, Dvorak, Dauphin) and tonight's game could see eight players on the ice as rookies with Flyers' Roman Lyubimov and Coyotes' Dylan Strome each making their NHL since that meeting… Of the eight rookies, five are under the age of 20 (Konecny, Provorov, Chychrun, Crouse & Strome).

4. THIS, THAT & THE OTHER:

THIS: Tonight's game marks the first time the Schenn brothers (Brayden & Luke) will face each other in a game since March 29, 2012 - A 7-1 win over Toronto, Brayden recorded two goals in the contest.

THAT: The Coyotes have earned at least a point in seven of its last nine games against the Flyers (5-2-2), but the Flyers have earned points in five of their last six at home (4-1-1).

THE OTHER: Coyotes captain Shane Doan is the longest serving captain in the NHL today at 13 seasons and ranks sixth all-time in NHL history for the most games played with one team in his career (1,472).

5. PLAYERS TO WATCH:

FLYERS (C: #28 - Claude Giroux)

The Flyers captain is tied for the team lead in scoring with eight points, all of which have been assists, including five on the power play… His eight assists leads all players in the NHL… He is currently on a six-game point steak, which is tied for the longest streak in the NHL this season - he has all eight of his points on the streak.

COYOTES (D: #23 - Oliver Ekman-Larsson)

The 25-year-old d-man has four goals in six games this season, one of which was the game-winning goal in overtime over the Flyers in their last meeting… His four goals also leads all NHL defensemen… Ekman-Larsson is also one of the biggest workhorses in the league, logging an average of 26:17 this season.
