New Jersey Devils, Prudential Center and Goya employees, as well as Devils Alumni members, will volunteer their time to sort and pack food at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey as part of the organizations' combined Day of Service.
The event follows the Devils' Food Drive in November, which collected 15,000 pounds of food from Devils fans. Goya donated an additional 20,000 pounds to raise the total to 35,000 pounds of food that will be donated to Newark families this winter.

The employees will create Family Packs for 29,167 meals that will include an assortment of Goya products. Each family will also receive one of Prudential Center's Newark 350 cards, part of the city's 350th Anniversary celebration, which are good for two complimentary tickets to an upcoming event at The Rock. Prudential Center and the Devils are donating 35,000 tickets as part of the initiative.
The Devils and Goya will host Hispanic Heritage Night at Prudential Center on Friday, January 20 at 7:30 p.m. as the team faces the Montreal Canadiens.
