THE WEEK AHEAD

Here are some key dates in Devils history from the week ahead:
December 5
1990 - The Devils beat the Vancouver Canucks by putting nine goals on the board. The nine goals are a team record, than has been achieved on several occasions and still stands to this day.
December 6
1997 - Devils prospect Nathan Bastian's birthday. He turns 23 this year.
December 9
1985 - Craig Wolanin became the youngest goal scorer in Devils history when he scored against Minnesota. He was 18 years old and 135 days. He has since been surpassed by Nico Hischier.
1992 - The Devils make the announcement that the team will change their colors to black, red and white.
1996 -
Mackenzie Blackwood's birthday. He turns 24 this year.
