After picking up three out of four possible points in their two game home series against the Boston Bruins, the Devils returned to practice Monday morning to prepare for a busy week.
The team will play the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, and the New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum on Thursday. Then, New Jersey will return home to host the Islanders on Sunday night.
New Jersey saw a full active roster participating at practice Monday. The only players missing were Nico Hischier (injury), Sami Vatanen, and Jesper Bratt. Bratt and Vatanen are still in the process of getting visas and coming to New Jersey.
