In honor of the evening, social and in-game content will highlight Capitals players and their dogs, PEDIGREE Foundation, and Capitals and America's VetDogs service dog in training Biscuit. A pre-game Caps Countdown interview will feature a PEDIGREE Foundation representative and information on PEDIGREE Foundation will be available at the Caps Canines Subscription table on the concourse.
Caps Canines
is the official dog club of the Washington Capitals, featuring exclusive merchandise, events and special offers. The Capitals will also be sending their dog influencers a watch party gift to tune-in to NBC Sports Washington at home.
PEDIGREE Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2008, believes that every dog deserves a loving home. The Foundation supports shelters and rescue organizations across the country through grants, as well as encourages people to adopt, volunteer, and donate to help end pet homelessness. To raise awareness for local dog adoption, the Capitals and PEDIGREE Foundation have partnered with Wolftrap Animal Rescue to have adoptable dogs at the arena. The adoptable dogs will be part of the game presentation show and intermission, during which fans will also learn more information on how to give the dogs a forever home.
A 'Caps & Canines' T-shirt will be available for purchase at the Team Store at Capital One Arena, with proceeds benefitting PEDIGREE Foundation. The 'Caps & Canines" T-shirt will be available for purchase throughout the remainder of the season at the Team Store. Fans can also purchase the exclusive shirt and other PEDIGREE Foundation gear at

In addition, Biscuit will participate in a game takeover throughout the evening. America's VetDogs puppy raisers, veterans and their dogs will also watch the game from a suite and be recognized as part of the Hero's Welcome during the pre-game ceremony.
