TURNING OVER A NEW LEAF

The Canucks claimed forward Travis Boyd (3-5-8 in 20 GP this season) off waivers from the Toronto Maple Leafs on Mar. 22/21, just five days after claiming forward Jimmy Vesey off waivers from Toronto on Mar. 17/21. Vesey joined former US World Junior and Rangers teammate J.T. Miller upon his Canucks arrival, while Boyd joins former USHL and USDP teammate J.T. Miller, and former Capitals teammates Braden Holtby and Jay Beagle, with whom he won the 2018 Stanley Cup.

MR. THREE THOUSAND

Prior to puck drop there will be a pre-game ceremony to celebrate Canucks Head Equipment Manager Pat O'Neill, who will be working his 3000th NHL game. He has been with the team since 1988 and is only the fifth trainer in league history to achieve this incredible milestone. In addition to his career with the Canucks he has also worked All-Star games, World Cup and the Olympics. Congratulations Patty!

WORLD AUTISM AWARENESS DAY

Friday, April 2nd marks World Autism Awareness Day so tonight we are honoured to have some special guests from Canucks Autism Network in attendance as our anthem singer, frontline hero and co-public address announcer. CAN provides programs to over 6,000 individuals on the autism spectrum and their families in BC and their vision is for every individual on the autism spectrum to be understood, accepted and supported in all community spaces.
