Fifth Line fans helped make history on Saturday night as the Blue Jackets retired former captain Rick Nash's jersey into the rafters, filling 19,434 seats, the largest attendance in CBJ history! Also on Saturday night, former CBJ captain Nick Foligno made his first appearance back at Nationwide Arena with the Boston Bruins. It was truly a special moment for past and present CBJ captains.

We kicked the week off with the annual Hockey Is For Everyone celebration. The NHL Hockey Is For Everyone initiative encourages inclusivity within the sport of hockey to drive positive social change. The Blue Jackets recognized hockey players from all levels and backgrounds around the central Ohio area, including a special recognition for Olentangy High School twin sisters Ebony and Essence Wyse. These girls represent what Hockey for Everyone is all about. Check out their inspiring story here!

Cleveland Monsters defenseman Jake Christiansen was called up to the big leagues last Tuesday and made a big-time impact. Christiansen scored his first-ever NHL goal to help the Jackets secure a 4-3 victory against the New Jersey Devils.
Even though the Jackets had an overtime loss against the Los Angeles Kings on Friday, history was still made. The Jackets recorded the fastest three goals in Blue Jackets history!
For those asking, yes, those are the fastest three goals in #CBJ history.
Previous mark was three goals in 51 seconds in that 7-1 win over Pittsburgh back in 2016.
