AGAINST WASHINGTON

The Blackhawks host Washington on Friday night at United Center. Fridayโ€™s game will be the second and final meeting between the clubs this season. Chicago defeated Washington in a shootout, 3-2, on Saturday at Capital One Arena. Ryan Donato and Teuvo Teravainen each scored one goal, while Nick Foligno scored the shootout-deciding goal. Tyler Bertuzzi, Andre Burakovsky and Ilya Mikheyev each logged an assist, while Spencer Knight made 32 saves on 34 shots (.941 SV%) for his 12th win of the season. The Blackhawks have earned points in 10 of their last 14 games against the Capitals at the United Center (8-4-2).

LAST TIME OUT

The Blackhawks defeated the St. Louis Blues, 7-3, on Wednesday evening at United Center. Louis Crevier (1G, 1A), Matt Grzelcyk (2A), Oliver Moore (1G, 1A), Connor Murphy (1G, 1A) and Landon Slaggert (1G, 1A) each logged two points. Andre Burakovsky, Jason Dickinson and Nick Lardis each scored one goal. Ryan Greene notched an assist and recorded a career-high 15 faceoff wins (15/23; 65.2%). Four other Blackhawks each registered an assist. Spencer Knight made 27 saves on 30 shots (.900 SV%) for his 13th win of the season. Chicago went a perfect 5-for-5 (100%) on the penalty kill and went 3-for-4 (75%) on the power play. The Blackhawks also outshot the Blues, 35-30.

The Blackhawks defeated St. Louis on Wednesday night and are riding a four-game win streak, which is their longest win streak since Feb. 17-25, 2023 (5 GP). Chicago has also earned points in five-straight games (4-0-1) and has logged points in six of their last seven games since Dec. 27 (5-1-1). Itโ€™s the first time the Blackhawks have posted multiple five-game point streaks in the same season since the 2020-21 campaign. The club is now one game shy of matching their season-long six-game point streak from Nov. 5 โ€“ Nov. 18 (5-0-1).

Chicago forward Andre Burakovsky scored a power play goal against the Blues on Wednesday and is riding a four-game point streak (1G, 5A), which matches his season-long (Oct. 28-Nov. 3 (3G, 3A)). With a point on Friday against Washington, Burakovsky would log his first five-game point streak since Nov. 23-Dec. 1, 2022 with Seattle (5G, 5A). The forward has compiled 29 points (10G, 19A) in 38 games this season and ranks second on the team with 19 assists, third with 29 points, and shares third with 10 goals.

LOUIS VUITTON

Defenseman Louis Crevier notched two points (1G, 1A) against St. Louis on Wednesday, including his career-high fourth goal in 42 games this season. His four goals now share first among all team blueliners. Crevier has also established a new career high with 14 points (4G, 10A) this season, which ranks second among club defensemen and he also shares second with 10 assists. He posted two hits against the Blues on Wednesday and ranks second on the team with 63 hits in 2025-26. The blueliner also logged two blocked shots on Wednesday and ranks fifth on the club with 36 blocked shots this season.

Jan. 9, 1992: Dominik Hasek made 21 saves on 21 shots in a 2-0 Blackhawks win against the Toronto Maple Leafs for his first career NHL shutout. He would go on to record 81 shoutouts in his NHL career.
Chicago forward Johnny Gottselig scored all four goals in a Blackhawks 4-1 victory over the New York Americans on Jan. 9, 1936. Howie Morenz notched three primary assists in the game, while goaltender Mike Karakas was credited with the victory.
