Why is the Minnesota Wild transitioning to SeatGeek?
We’re always looking for ways to improve the fan experience. After evaluating our ticketing needs and listening to fan feedback, we’ve chosen SeatGeek as our new ticketing partner because it provides a modern, easy-to-use platform that simplifies how fans access, manage, transfer, and sell tickets.
Our goal is simple: make managing your tickets easier and more convenient.
When is this transition happening?
The Minnesota Wild will officially transition to SeatGeek beginning July 1.
During the transition period, both Ticketmaster and SeatGeek may be active for certain events (between July 1 – 19, 2026) while systems are being migrated. Additional communications will be sent throughout the summer to guide you through each step.
Key milestones include:
- July 1: SeatGeek becomes the official Ticketing partner
- July: Fan account verification and onboarding
- July 15: First payment plan processing through SeatGeek
- August: Ticket migration and account readiness communications
- September: Minnesota Wild tickets available within SeatGeek
Do I need to do anything right now?
The most important step is to verify or create your SeatGeek account when invited to do so.
We’ll provide step-by-step instructions, and the process only takes a few minutes.
Will I lose my seats or membership benefits?
No. Your Season Ticket Membership, seating location, tenure, benefits and account status are not changing as a result of this transition. The platform used to manage tickets is changing, but your membership remains the same.
Will my tickets automatically transfer to SeatGeek?
Yes. Your Minnesota Wild membership tickets will be transferred to your SeatGeek account as part of the transition process. We’ll notify you when your tickets are available to view and manage.
Why do I need to create or verify a SeatGeek account?
Creating or verifying your account helps ensure a secure and seamless transition.
By completing this step early, you’ll be ready to access your tickets as soon as they’re available and avoid any delays before the season begins.
What if I already have a SeatGeek account?
In most cases, you’ll simply need to verify that the email address associated with your SeatGeek account matches the email address on your My Wild Account.
We’ll provide instructions if any additional action is needed.
Will I still use the Minnesota Wild app?
Yes. Fans will continue to access tickets through the Minnesota Wild App experience. My Wild Account will officially transition to SeatGeek as of July 20. Additional details and instructions will be shared as integrations are finalized.
What happens to tickets I currently have in Ticketmaster?
Tickets for events that occurred before the transition (July 1) will remain accessible through Ticketmaster as applicable.
Tickets for events between July 1 and July 19 at Grand Casino Arena will remain accessible through Ticketmaster.
Tickets for events at Grand Casino Arena after July 20, will transition will be transitioned automatically over to SeatGeek.
Future Minnesota Wild ticket management for the 2026-2027 season will move to SeatGeek. During the transition period, some events may temporarily reside on different platforms, and we’ll clearly communicate where tickets can be accessed.
Is SeatGeek secure?
Yes. SeatGeek is a trusted ticketing partner used by numerous professional sports teams, leagues and entertainment venues across North America. The platform uses industry-standard security measures to help protect fan accounts and ticket transactions.
Will buying, transferring, or selling tickets change?
The process will be similar, but many fans find SeatGeek’s experience intuitive and easy to navigate.
SeatGeek allows fans to:
- Access tickets quickly
- Transfer tickets to friends and family
- Sell eligible tickets
- Manage tickets from a mobile device

What if I need help during the transition?
We’re here to help. The Minnesota Wild Membership Services team will provide support throughout the transition and will share resources, tutorials and step-by-step instructions along the way.
