FRISCO, Texas -- Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed defenseman Kyle Capobianco to a two-year, one-way contract extension that will run through the 2027-28 season. The two-year deal is worth $850,000 for the first year and $900,000 for the second. Additionally, the team has signed defenseman Luke Krys to a two-year, two-way contract extension, which will begin in the 2026-27 season.

Capobianco appeared in 33 games for the Stars this past season averaging 12:08 of time on ice per game, while Krys skated in 40 regular-season games and tallied 16 points during the 2025-26 campaign with the Texas Stars.
