American Airlines Center has made several venue policy changes for the 2017-2018 season including:
Re-Entry: Re-entry is not allowed at any event at the American Airlines Center. For certain situations such as medical needs, re-entry can be approved by the Guest Services Supervisor at the door.
Smoking: In compliance with local and state laws, American Airlines Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking, including alternative smoking devices such as electronic and/or vapor, is only permitted in designated smoking areas. Designated smoking areas include the patios of Eighteen 76, Valor Bar & Burger and Jack Daniels Old No. 7 Club on the Plaza Level and the balconies on the north and south sides of the Platinum Level.
Backpacks & Large Bags: All bags larger than 14"x14"x6" (i.e. backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc.) will be prohibited from entry into the arena.
Uber & Ride Share Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Uber and ride-share drop off & pick up has moved to All-Star Way this season. The Ride Share lot in the southern portion of Lot E is also still available for drop-off and pick-up.
Only buses and stretch limos are allowed to drop-off and pick-up on Valor Street.

Waze: For the quickest route to American Airlines Center on game night, let Waze guide you. This is the only source for directions that includes game day traffic and lane closures around the arena. Waze is a free community-based GPS, maps and traffic navigation app available at the Apple Apps Store and Google Play.
