Santa Clara Valley Medical Women’s & Children’s Center

In 2014 the Sharks Foundation, in partnership with SAP, announced the allocation of $750,000 over a three-year period to fund the redesign of a pediatric floor at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center to create a new Women's and Children's Center. This unit will be San Jose's first, and only of its kind, offering affordable and high quality health care to women and children with the redesign's emphasis on creating a space that is not only functional, but educational as well as visually artistic and inviting.

Rotary PlayGarden

The Sharks Foundation dedicated $25,000 of proceeds from the 2013 Sampling with the Sharks wine tasting fundraiser towards the creation of the Rotary PlayGarden. The playground, a project of the San Jose Rotary Club in partnership with the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy, allows children of all abilities to discover, learn, explore and play together side by side, with an emphasis on inclusion and education.
