Participation in the YPB allows its members to gain hands-on experience working side by side with the Sharks Foundation. The Young Professionals Board is dedicated to supporting the Sharks Foundation's efforts to enhance the lives of youth and families in the community through engagement in Sharks Foundation activities, programs and events.
Members must attend 100% of board meetings which take place the first/second Thursday of every month (dependent on hockey schedule). Members are expected to execute the "Five-Hole Goal" program which include:

The Sharks Foundation promotes full and equal participation for the YPB and is inclusive of professionals of varying gender, national origin, racial and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientation and gender identity, and with disabilities. We recognize that our strength and success is due in large part to the diversity that our leadership brings and we are committed to continuing to increase the diversity of our membership and to assure that the YPB reflects the community it serves.
