The SAP Center A to a Guide is designed to give you full details on all policies, procedures, and protocols in place for the balance of the 2020-21 season. We appreciate your patience with these changes as they are in place to ensure everyone's safety and well-being.
We ask that guests maintain at least 6 feet of physical distance between other patrons outside of their immediate party as they arrive at SAP Center. Additional distancing instructions will be provided for guests upon entry into the building.
Guests will go through a no- or minimal-contact security screening utilizing walk-through magnetometers.
For the remainder of the 2020-21 season no bags, regardless of size or type, will be permitted into SAP Center. Exceptions to this policy include bags carrying medical necessities or diaper bags accompanied by a child in diapers. Bags deemed as exceptions will be screened by an X-Ray Machine positioned at the North Entrance of SAP Center and tagged accordingly once approved for entry.
Guests who arrive with bags and are unable to secure them can take advantage of a self-operating locker system for a nominal fee and conveniently located near the North Entrance of SAP Center.
The BMW Lounge will be closed for the duration of the Sharks 2020-21 season.
The north area of the Club Level will be open to serve as a designated eating and drinking area; however, all other portions of the Club Level will remain closed for the duration of the 2020-21 season.
SAP Center recently achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR Accreditation™, the performance-based gold-standard designation awarded to facilities that have established practices, procedures, and protocols to prepare, respond, and recover from outbreaks and pandemics.
High-touch surfaces and heavily trafficked areas within SAP Center will be continuously cleaned and disinfected throughout events. After every event, all spaces and seating areas will go through an additional rigorous disinfection process that meets or exceeds current protocols set forth by federal, state, and local health officials.
Designated Eating & Drinking Areas: The State of California's Blueprint for a Safer Economy guidelines require that all food and beverage be consumed in designated eating and drinking areas only. As such, food and beverage are not permitted in the seating bowl of SAP Center.
Designated eating and drinking areas will be available outside of Sections 107/109 on the main concourse and in the North Club. Guests attending the game in a Zoom Suite must also utilize the designated dining areas when actively eating or drinking.
Please be assured that all designated dining areas have been configured to ensure a minimum of six feet (6') of distance between tables.
ELEVATORS & ESCALATORS
Elevators and escalators will be available for use with proper physical distancing practices followed.
To ensure proper distancing, only two guests per elevator car will be allowed. Guests must allow for at least 6 feet of distance between themselves and other parties while riding escalators.
SAP Center staff will be present to monitor the entry and exit of both elevators and escalators to ensure proper distancing practices are followed and high-touch surfaces are sanitized regularly.
All SAP Center guests are required to wear facial coverings at all times on SAP Center premises except when actively eating and drinking in a designated eating & drinking area. This includes parking lots and security screening areas.
Face shields may not be worn in place of a face mask, though they may be worn in addition to a face mask.
Please note: neck gaiters, facial covering with exhalation valves and bandanas do not qualify as facial coverings for entry into SAP Center.
Additionally, all personnel are required to wear all personal protective equipment, including facial coverings, at all times while at SAP Center except while actively eating and drinking on break in designated, non-guest facing areas of the venue.

All guests wishing to purchase food and beverage as part of their gameday experience must do so through the Sharks + SAP Center mobile app. All orders will be available for Express Pick-Up at the following locations:

Please note that outside food and/or beverage items are not permitted unless medically required. All food and beverage, including items brought in for medical reasons, must be enjoyed in a designated eating and drinking area. Refillable water bottles are not currently permitted.
HEALTH CHECK REQUIREMENTS
- ADVANCE TESTING (48 - 72 Hours Prior to the Game You Plan to Attend)
Total Testing Solutions, the preferred testing partner of the San Jose Sharks, is offering molecular testing at no cost to fans who are tested 48 - 72 hours prior to the game they are planning to attend. In addition, advanced testing through Total Testing Solutions guarantees that you'll have your result in time to get to your seats at the Tank!
Fans wishing to be tested in advance must pre-register with Total Testing Solutions AND schedule an appointment.
Pre-registration and appointment booking capabilities will be available beginning Monday, April 19 and can be found here.
- GAMEDAY TESTING (3 Hours Prior to the Start of the Game Until 30 Minutes After Puck Drop)
Total Testing Solutions will provide fans who prefer to wait until gameday to be tested with on-site rapid antigen testing for a discounted cost of $50/test. Results from these tests will be delivered within ten minutes Testing will open three (3) hours prior to puck drop and continue for 30 minutes after the start of the game. Fans being tested on gamedays do not need an appointment; however, they MUST pre-register for this service here.
- VACCINATED FANS
Prior to arrival at SAP Center, all ticketed fans who are fully vaccinated, which is defined as the administration of the final dose at least 14 days prior to the date of the game they are planning to attend, can show proof of vaccination in lieu of a negative COVID-19 test result.
To expedite entry, vaccinated fans are encouraged pre-register through Total Testing Solutions by upload an image of their CDC Vaccination Card. Full upload instructions can be found here.
Vaccinated fans are still encouraged to bring their vaccination card or a photo of the card along with their photo ID to be safe.
- NEGATIVE TEST VERIFICATION THROUGH TOTAL TESTING SOLUTIONS
Test Results from Total Testing Solutions are guaranteed to be available in LINK, the COVID-19 Platform provided by Total Testing Solutions and utilized by the San Jose Sharks for COVID-19 Vaccine and Test Results verification prior to entry into SAP Center. Upon receipt of test results, ticketed fans will receive a Test Verification link via text message and/or email that will take them to their results.
- NEGATIVE TEST VERIFICATION THROUGH ANY OTHER PROVIDER
Fans who utilize a provider other than Total Testing Solutions will still require proof of a negative COVID-19 test prior to entry into SAP Center. Ticketed fans with a test from an outside facility MUST pre-register and upload their results here.
Fans with non-Total Testing Solutions test results are required to pre-upload their test results to ensure they can be checked for accuracy and legitimacy by our staff prior to game day.
- HEALTH CHECK REQUIREMENTS - EMPLOYEES
All personnel entering SAP Center working a game are required to take a Rapid Antigen Test and receive a negative result prior to entering or working at SAP Center.
LEXISNEXIS RISK SOLUTIONS TICKETS OFFICE
The Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions Ticket Office at SAP Center is closed until further notice for in-person business transactions.
Staff will be on hand only to assist guests with any ticketing issues on game and event days; they will be unable to conduct business transactions.

We recommend that all guests pre-purchase a parking pass(es) for the ABC Lot at SAP Center via Ticketmaster.com prior to arrival at SAP Center.
If you have pre-purchased a parking pass, please access your pass via your mobile device. If your window is not tinted, you may hold your parking pass on your mobile device up to your window and the parking attendant will scan your device through the window. If your window is tinted, please ensure your facial covering is securely covering your nose and mouth prior to opening your window. After opening your window, please present your mobile pass to the attendant who will scan it and direct you into the parking lot.
Guests who choose not to pre-purchase parking passes may be able to purchase a pass upon arrival based on availability. Please note: all parking transactions are mobile payment, credit card & debit card only.
As you exit your vehicle and approach the building, please ensure your facial covering is in place and that you remain at least 6 feet away from guests not in your party.
Guests are required to practice physical distancing inside and outside of SAP Center, which means keeping a distance of at least six feet between you and those outside of your household. Signage will be posted throughout SAP Center to help remind guests of this safety requirement.
Throughout all live events at SAP Center, restrooms will be sanitized and cleaned frequently. Additional precautions include restroom line monitoring and the closure of some stalls, urinals, and/or sinks to further facilitate physical distancing.
All staff members and guests will be required to wash their hands prior to exiting the restrooms.
SEATING & EVENT CAPACITIES
Seating charts and event capacities will be determined on a per event basis to ensure adherence to all safety guidelines and appropriate physical distancing for all guests.
SHARKS PRO SHOP
The Sharks Pro Shop will remain open during all ticketed hockey events as will select retail locations on the concourse. Merchandise operations will maintain the highest standards of compliance with current health and safety regulations. In addition, to minimize contact between guests and staff members, all retail transactions will be a cashless experience.
Reverse ATMs are available for guests who need to convert their cash to a debit card that can be used at SAP Center and anywhere major debit and credit cards are accepted.

In addition to being a smoke-free facility, SAP Center will no longer provide designated smoking landings. E-cigarettes continue to be prohibited.
All tickets for events at SAP Center are digital and available to guests through their mobile devices. Tickets purchased through SAP Center, the San Jose Sharks, and/or the San Jose Barracuda will be available through the Sharks + SAP Center or Ticketmaster mobile apps or via mobile web. In-order to provide a contactless experience for all guests, there will no longer be physical tickets or will call.
Please also note that all tickets must be purchased in advance as there will be no day-of-game ticket sales at SAP Center. Tickets purchased through SAP Center and/or the San Jose Sharks will be available only through the Sharks + SAP Center or Ticketmaster mobile apps and/or mobile web. Physical tickets are no longer being issued.
Additionally, to ensure both your safety and our adherence to the California State Guidelines related to fans who are seated together, ticket transfer and ticket resale capabilities are unavailable.
