The action on the ice brings us together. However, the moments off the ice can be just as powerful. Whether we are creating memories for your family members or clients, the Pittsburgh Penguins Ticketing Department is proud of its role in bringing these opportunities to our most dedicated fans!
On September 21 & 22, 2019, 44 full season ticket holders and their guests accompanied team personnel and players on pre-season road trips to Columbus and Detroit. The whirlwind trips included a charter flight, happy hour and game tickets!
Every year, the season begins with returning players making their annual visits to the homes of Penguins season ticket holders. Each stop includes family photos, driveway hockey and of course - hand-delivered season tickets!
To build off the success of Player Ticket Deliveries, Crosby, Malkin, Letang and Dumoulin welcomed 4 season ticket holders and their guests to their 'home' on September 16…the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. This behind the scenes experience included a private practice, one-on-one conversations with the players, a locker room tour and lunch with Coach Sullivan.
In collaboration with game presentation, six season ticket holders and their guests were invited to attend Creative Day 2019 at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. The day included KeyBank Challenges, player and season ticket holder headshots and social media gifs!
Hosted in the Jim Beam Rackhouse, 40 STHs and their guests are invited to enjoy a pre-game drink and appetizers prior to select games during the regular season. The happy hours also include a visit by Iceburgh and raffles!
Invitations are sent via email at the start of the season.
For a small donation to the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, Penguins season ticket holder families are invited to take their holiday photos at PPG Paints Arena in late November. Festive photo opportunities include the player benches, both goals, the penalty box, the Zamboni and Suite 66!
Each year, season ticket holders are invited to lace up their skates for a skating party at PPG Paints Arena. Fans are invited to sit on the benches, take photos and skate the same ice as our Penguins superstars - no checking allowed!
Prior to select Penguins home games, randomly selected season ticket holders are invited to take a player selfie in the team hallway before the game! To submit your name for this opportunity, please look for the email at the start of the season!
Season ticket holders with family members ages 6-12 are invited to submit their child's name for the pre-game Highmark High Five. Selected children stand at the bench and fist bump players as they leave the pre-game skate! To submit a child's name for this opportunity, please look for the email at the start of the season!
Before the ice melts on another season, Penguins season ticket holders are invited to show-off their inner artists by painting messages, pictures and player well-wishes on the PPG Paints Arena ice! Young and old join together to get messy and create this end-of-season masterpiece!
Season ticket holders have amazing stories to tell - and we love to hear them! Throughout the season the Pittsburgh Penguins Ticketing Department highlights season ticket holders in the game day publication Ice Time. This 2-page story includes personal photographs, memories, favorite keepsakes and more. If you have a special story - be sure to complete our questionnaire at the beginning of each season!
