Brandon Otte is just 9 years old but he was the toughest guy on the ice at Monday's Blackhawks game.

The avid hockey player and huge Blackhawks fan is undergoing cancer treatment and was invited to drop the puck at the United Center before a game against the Flames as part of Hockey Fights Cancer Night in Chicago.

Brandon was diagnosed this year and has been undergoing chemotherapy for seven months, according to his father, Jeff Otte. The little guy's progress is "looking good for him," Jeff Otte said in a video tweeted by the Blackhawks.
The youngster got to drop the ceremonial puck between Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews and Flames captain Mark Giordano.

After the puck drop, Brandon Otte got a special pre-game fist bump from his favorite player, Patrick Kane.
