The Golden Knights wowed the sports world with 109 regular-season points and became the first expansion team to reach the Cup Final in their first season since the St. Louis Blues in 1968. The Golden Knights also were the first expansion team to win a Cup Final game in their first season despite falling to the Capitals in five games.
