After both teams were held scoreless through the opening period, the Golden Knights went on the power play and Alex Tuch filed a loose puck into the back of the Colorado net. The Avalanche would get on the board later in the period to even the score, but Jonathan Marchessault answered with the team's second goal of the middle frame. Shea Theodore and William Karlsson added to the score in the third period to give Vegas the victory at T-Mobile Arena, 4-1. AT THE TIME
