The Vegas Golden Knights (29-11-2) won their fourth-straight game by a score of 6-2 over the Los Angeles Kings (16-20-6) at Staples Center on Wednesday night.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Tomas Nosek continued his strong play and opened the scoring with an early tally in the first. Four minutes later, the third line from Vegas struck again when Alex Tuch scored in his second-straight contest. Los Angeles got on the scoreboard, but a Max Pacioretty backhand snuck into the net to make it 3-1 after one. Chandler Stephenson extended the advantage for Vegas when he scored on a breakaway in the middle frame, then the Kings answered back, and the Golden Knights held another two-goal lead into intermission. During the third period, Mark Stone and Alex Pietrangelo joined in on the scoring fun while Marc-Andre Fleury stood tall to give his team the 6-2 victory.
