Vancouver, B.C. - Beginning tonight, a new 50/50 raffle will give fans at home a chance to win the same big 50/50 jackpots as fans at Rogers Arena. The new 50/50 program supports the Canucks for Kids Fund and is available for all home games. For further details, or to play from home, go to:
Canucks.com/Online5050

The new 50/50 program is different than last year's raffles, which were separate programs and included separate in-game and online jackpots. This year's 50/50 is a single game for all to play, with one draw to take place during the third period of each game at Rogers Arena. The program will be operated through 50/50 Central, the industry leader in digital fundraising solutions.
"Canucks fans everywhere can now win same big 50/50 jackpots, but the real winner will be the kids and families around BC," said Paolo Aquilini, President of the Canucks for Kids Fund. "The Fund has raised over $59 million for children's charities over the past 33 years, thanks largely to fans buying 50/50 tickets. We are so very grateful and hope to raise more funds than ever before thanks to this innovation."
In-game 50/50 jackpots at Rogers Arena have historically been some of the biggest in sports, typically reaching anywhere from $65,000 to more than $100,000 per game. Last year a jackpot reached over $1 million on April 5th during the Sedin twins' final home game.
Fans watching Canucks home games on Sportsnet or listening to Sportsnet 650 will be updated with 50/50 jackpot amounts throughout the broadcasts.
Funds generated from the 50/50 program are split between the winner of the 50/50 draw and the Canucks for Kids Fund. The money collected will help support the Canucks for Kids Fund which raises money to support children's health and wellness, grassroots hockey development and education in B.C. Core beneficiaries of the Fund include: Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children's Hospice and the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.

How to Buy:

Buying a ticket is a simple process similar to most online purchases. Tickets are sold online from the same time doors open at Rogers Arena until the end of the 2nd intermission.
Online ticket buyers will receive a receipt in their email a few minutes after purchasing. It will list all numbers associated with the purchased tickets.
Fans can go to

The Draw:

The winning ticket is drawn during the third period of the game with just over 10 minutes to play. The winning ticket will be announced during the final minutes of the game.
The prize is calculated as 50 per cent of the value of all tickets sales for the draw. Actual odds depend on the number of tickets sold.
