Vegas Golden Knights fantasy projections for 2026-27

As part of NHL.com's 32 in 32 series, the fantasy hockey staff ranks the top five Vegas Golden Knights players for standard leagues and provides skater points and goalie wins projections for the 2026-27 season.

1. Jack Eichel, F 

NHL.com fantasy rank: 22 

Eichel has the top two point-scoring seasons in Golden Knights history (94 in 2024-25; 90 in 2025-26) and is one of three active United States-born players to have consecutive 90-point seasons (others: Kyle Connor, Matthew Tkachuk). Since 2024-25 (past two seasons combined), the 29-year-old is the only player in the League with at least 180 points (184), 400 shots on goal (493), 60 power-play points (62) and five short-handed points. Eichel is a fringe top 15 forward in NHL.com's rankings with top 10 upside overall.

2. Mitch Marner, F

NHL.com fantasy rank: 49 

Marner had 80 points (24 goals, 56 assists) in 81 games last season, his first with the Golden Knights, before having a standout postseason to help Vegas reach the Stanley Cup Final for the third time in nine seasons. His League-leading 29 playoff points (in 22 games) were the most in NHL history by a player in his debut season with a team. The 29-year-old, who is on Vegas' top power-play and penalty-killing units, is tied for eighth in the NHL in points per game (1.21; 463 in 383 games) over the previous five seasons combined (since 2021-22).

3. Mark Stone, F

NHL.com fantasy rank: 99 

Stone's 28 goals (in 60 games) last season were his most since scoring an NHL career-high 33 in 2018-19 and the second-most in the League among skaters to play 60 games or fewer (Zach Hyman, 31 goals in 58 games). His finishing ability has made him an ideal linemate for Eichel; 26 of his 47 goals scored over the previous two seasons combined (since 2024-25) have been assisted by Eichel. After Pavel Dorofeyev (team-leading 37 goals last season) was traded to the New York Rangers on June 26, Stone has 30-goal potential if healthy, though it's worth noting he has played 65 games or more only twice over the past seven seasons.

4. Shea Theodore, D 

NHL.com fantasy rank: 150 

Theodore, a two-time 50-point producer and four-time 10-goal scorer, has a high fantasy ceiling with Vegas' consistent offense. The 31-year-old is a bounce-back candidate after he had 39 points (10 goals, 29 assists) in 70 games last season, his first below the 40-point mark since 2018-19. Dorofeyev's departure means Theodore could quarterback the Golden Knights' top power play again after they used a five-forward unit for much of last season. Vegas ranked sixth in the NHL in power-play goals (58) and power-play percentage (24.6 percent) in 2025-26.

5. Carter Hart, G

NHL.com fantasy rank: 152 

Hart has renewed upside as Vegas' starting goalie following a strong finish to his first season with the Golden Knights; from April 2 to the conclusion of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Hart led the NHL in wins (20) and saves (711) while ranking fifth in save percentage (.912) and sixth in goals-against average (2.38) among goalies to play at least 10 games over that span. Hart is a fringe top 15 goalie option even in a timeshare with Adin Hill, who has started at least 25 games in each of his four seasons with Vegas.
