New York Rangers forward Rick Nash won't play Sunday at the Ottawa Senators (3 p.m. ET; MSG, RDS2, TSN5) with a left leg injury, coach Alain Vigneault said.
Nash is day-to-day, but Vigneault expects him to play Monday against the Buffalo Sabres at Madison Square Garden.

Nash was injured Friday attempting to make a defensive play when he fell and hit the boards 30 seconds into the third period of the Rangers' 4-1 win against the Carolina Hurricanes. He left the ice and returned about nine minutes later, but went back to the bench after blocking Hurricanes defenseman Justin Faulk's shot with his left knee and missed the rest of the game. Nash, who hasn't scored since Dec. 30, has 12 goals and 21 assists in 44 games this season.
Mats Zuccarello will play left wing in Nash's place with center Derick Brassard and right wing Jesper Fast. Forward Chris Kreider will play after missing the game Friday with neck spasms.
