Sabres top Penguins at home, 3-1

BUFFALO --Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 32 saves for the Buffalo Sabres in a 3-1 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins at KeyBank Center on Saturday

Victor Olofsson and Tage Thompson each had a goal and an assist for the Sabres, and Jack Quinn scored.
Drake Caggiula scored, and Tristan Jarry made 32 saves for the Penguins.
Olofsson opened the scoring at 12:14 of the second period. The forward beat Jarry with a one-timer from the right circle. Dylan Cozens and Peyton Krebs assisted on the goal.
Thompson made it 2-0 at 18:22 of the second. The forward joined a rush on a delayed penalty, took a pass from Chase Priskie and scored from the right circle.
With Jarry off for an extra skater, Caggiula slid a backhand past Luukkonen at 18:24 of the third period to make it 2-1.
Caggiula hit the post with 43 seconds remaining in regulation before Quinn scored into an empty net at 19:37 for the 3-1 final.
