Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa won't make the trip to face the Winnipeg Jets on Friday at MTS Centre (8 p.m. ET; CSN-CH, TSN3, NHL.TV) because of an illness.
Hossa is one goal shy of 500 for his NHL career after scoring against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday.
Goaltender Corey Crawford also won't travel with the Blackhawks. Crawford continues to recover from an injury but is showing progress, according to coach Joel Quenneville, and could get on the ice this weekend.
