The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today the club's 2016-17 regular season broadcast schedule. All Maple Leafs' games will be televised live on Sportsnet and Hockey Night in Canada (56 games) and TSN (26 games), while Sportsnet 590 The FAN and TSN Radio 1050 will once again divide games evenly between the two radio networks.
On New Year's Day 2017, the Maple Leafs will take on the Red Wings in the first-ever NHL Centennial Classicâ„¢. Fans can watch the game on Sportsnet and TVA Sports in Canada, while viewers south of the border can see the outdoor game on NBC. Sportsnet 590 The FAN will carry the game live on Jan. 1 from BMO Field in Toronto.
Calling the action for all games on both Sportsnet 590 The FAN and TSN Radio 1050 Toronto are the longtime Maple Leafs radio duo of play-by-play commentator Joe Bowen and radio analyst Jim Ralph.

In addition to regular season broadcasts, Sportsnet will air live coverage of Maple Leafs preseason games on Sept. 30 against Buffalo (Sportsnet 360), Oct. 2 against Montreal (Sportsnet ONE) and Oct. 7 against Detroit (Sportsnet 360) in Hamilton, Ont. Sportsnet will have a Leafs preseason radio broadcast on October 8 when the Leafs wrap up their preseason in Detroit against the Red Wings.
TSN will also air live preseason action, beginning on Sept. 26 in Halifax when they Maple Leafs face off against the Senators (TSN4), Sept. 29 against the Sabres (TSN4) in St. Catharines, Ont., Oct. 4 against the Senators in Saskatoon, Oct. 6 against the Canadiens (TSN4) in Montreal, and on Oct. 8 in Detroit (TSN4) for the preseason finale against the Red Wings. TSN 1050 Toronto will carry six preseason games beginning on September 26 at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax against Ottawa.
