BOSTON -- Tyler Seguin scored at 2:59 of overtime to give the Dallas Stars a 3-2 victory against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden on Monday.

Seguin scored during a delayed penalty after driving to the net from the left wall, getting around or past three defenders and shooting the puck over Anton Khudobin after the goaltender went down.
"I don't know. I feel like everyone was just sliding at me," Seguin said. "The whole time I wanted to pass. I was just kind of looking for the right play and just kept holding it. And then the goalie even did a two-pad stack or something. I just shot it and I'm happy it went in."

Stephen Johns and Alexander Radulov scored for the Stars (25-17-3), who started their four-game road trip by winning for the third time in four games. It was Dallas' first road win in its past four games (1-2-1).
Kari Lehtonen, starting in place of Ben Bishop, made 30 saves in his first start since Dec. 15.
"He was sound," Dallas coach Ken Hitchcock said. "That's what you hope for. He's a backup in word only; he's really a starting goaltender. We've got the luxury and we've got to start using it right now."
Zdeno Chara and Ryan Spooner scored, and Khudobin made 29 saves for the Bruins, who had won their past five home games. Boston trailed 2-0 in the second period and were behind 2-1 to start the third period before rallying to earn a point.
"That's the positive in this game. We were down two and we were able to scratch back against a very good defensive team," Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said. "It's one thing to do it against a team that gives up a lot, but this is a good defensive team. So that's the positive in it all."

The Stars went 14:34 without a shot on goal before Johns scored at 3:49 of the second period to give Dallas a 1-0 lead. The defenseman backed up to the left face-off dot and beat Khudobin with a wrist shot inside the far post.
Radulov made it 2-0 at 8:15 after Jamie Benn won a face-off forward against Patrice Bergeron and Khudobin left the rebound for him to flip into the net.
Chara got the Bruins within 2-1 by beating Lehtonen with a slap shot from the top of the left circle at 16:28 after the Bruins won a battle along the boards and defense partner Charlie McAvoy made a cross-ice pass.
"That gave us life, it always does, especially when you're having a tough time scoring," Cassidy said. "He was excited, our guys were excited and it gets the crowd going a little bit. I thought it was a turning point, it got us going a little bit. It probably gave us some juice for the third."
Spooner made it 2-2 at 11:21 of the third period when his one-timer from the top of the right circle went off Lehtonen's blocker but hit Dallas defenseman Esa Lindell and rolled across the goal line.
