Type of Challenge: Goaltender Interference

Result: Original call is overturned - Goal Detroit
Explanation: Video review determined the actions of Columbus defenseman Zach Werenski caused Detroit's Bobby Ryan to contact goaltender Joonas Korpisalo in the crease before the goal. The decision was made in accordance with Rule 38.11 which states, in part, that the goal should be allowed because "(ii) the attacking Player was pushed, shoved or fouled by the defending Player causing the attacking Player to come into contact with the goalkeeper."
